DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral for Laura B. Davis of Naples, Fla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. The Rev. Don Poole will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.

Davis, 96, died Sunday, April 2, 2000, at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Fla.

She was born June 15, 1903, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of George Elijah and Dicie Mary Jane Burns Stokes. She married Ray Davis, who died in 1967.

Formerly of Dongola, she was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Van Pickerill of Naples; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
