LAURA A. PENNY

Funeral service for Laura Ann Penny, 1315 Jefferson, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Revs. Kendal Hicks and Wesley Rider will officiate, with burial in Old Salem Methodist Cemetery at Daisy.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today.

Penny, 26, died Monday, May 15, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1968, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of David and Linda Reed Rhodes. She and Robert F. Penny were married June 26, 1990, in Cape Girardeau.

Penny attended Central High School, and was a member of Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, David, Robert II and Darrin Penny of the home; her parents of Cape Girardeau; a brother, David Rhodes of Jefferson City; three sisters, Debbie Rhodes of Ramsey, N.J., Susan and Christa Rhodes of Cape Girardeau, and stepgrandmother, Norene Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.
