SIKESTON -- Larry Wayne Hensley, 56, of Sikeston, formerly of Springfield, Mo., and Charleston, died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Springfield, the son of Cecil Wayne and Audrey Rosalee Endecott Hensley. He married Vanette Noisworthy on Aug. 26, 1967. She survives...

SIKESTON -- Larry Wayne Hensley, 56, of Sikeston, formerly of Springfield, Mo., and Charleston, died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Springfield, the son of Cecil Wayne and Audrey Rosalee Endecott Hensley. He married Vanette Noisworthy on Aug. 26, 1967. She survives.

He was a member of the Grace Bible Chapel in Springfield and a graduate of Springfield High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University.

He lived in Charleston most of his life and had been employed by the French Implement Co. since 1979.

Also surviving are a son, Rick Hensley of East Prairie; four daughters, Cindy Smith of Cape Girardeau, Shelly Stone of Jackson, Sherry Martinez of Pearlland, Texas, Kathy Slagle of Springfield; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating.

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
