Larry Ritchie Jr.

Larry Ritchie Jr., 69, of Delta passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, with family by his side.

He was born Aug. 20, 1945, in St. Louis, to the late Lawrence James and Ruby Lampkins Ritchie. He and Cora Christine Virgen were married Oct. 5, 1968, in Manchester, Missouri.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.

He was a long-haul truck driver until July 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Cora of the home; three sons, Richard S. (Rose) Ritchie of Lonedell, Missouri, Billy W. (Krystal) Ritchie of Marthasville, Missouri, and Johnny L. Ritchie of Pacific, Missouri; a sister, Betty (Jerry) Coleman of Benton, Missouri; six grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Donald Cole of Dittmer, Missouri.

A private service will be held at a later date.
