Larry Richmond

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Larry "Hambone" David Richmond, 74, of Advance passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 12, 1943, in Advance, the son of Leon and Jean Hamby Richmond.

Larry was a retired truck driver. He was a charter member of the Advance Eagles.

He had a generous heart for his family and friends or anyone who was in need.

Survivors include a son, James (Kay) Richmond of St. Louis; a brother, Dave Richmond of Advance; a sister, Cindy Neighbors of Wappapello, Missouri; three grandchildren, Larry Gasperoni, Christen Aubuchon and Kaytlyn Richmond; three great-great-grandchildren, Keegan Aubuchon and Emma and Kenzie Gasperoni, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A memorial service will be held at noon at the chapel. A life celebration will follow at the Advance Eagles Club, 19095 State Highway C, Advance, MO 63730.
