ADVANCE, Mo. -- Larry Ratliff Sr., 68, of Advance, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at his home.

He was born Dec. 23, 1940, in Shafter, Calif., son of Jack and Lourane Barnett Ratliff. Larry was a retired truck driver. He associated with the Assembly of God Church in Advance.

Larry and Frankie Norman were united in marriage March 2, 1960, in Las Vegas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Larry Ratliff, Jr. of New Haven, Mo., Dennis Ratliff of Nevada and Isaiah Ratliff of Advance; and two grandchildren, Brandy Ratliff and Joseph Ratliff.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating.
