FARIBAULT, Minn. -- Larry Lynn Myers, 79, of Faribault, formerly of Jackson, passed away Monday, July 6, 2022, at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Larry was born Sept. 30, 1942, to Claud C. and Ruth I. Myers.
Larry was a Vietnam veteran. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, serving honorably from 1964 to 1968. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, among other commendations, during his tour in Vietnam.
He worked 18 years with the Control Data Corporation. In 1989, he established Infinity Data Products in Jackson.
Larry's memberships include the Excelsior Masonic Lodge in Jackson, Moolah Shrine, Scottish Rite, American Mensa, VFW, lifetime member of the American Legion, Optimist Clubs in California and Jackson and the Jackson Rotary Club.
Survivors include two children, Wayne (Felicia) Myers and Jennifer (Rich) Murphy; two granddaughters, Morgan (Colin) Bauer and Madison Murphy (fiance Jeb Brown); a great-grandson, Beckett Bauer; a brother, Dale Myers; dear friends, Charlie Seitz and Ron Loennke; and his beloved cat, Missy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Claud Myers, and a brother, David Myers.

At his request, the family will scatter his ashes at sea, in the waters off St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands.
