GIPSY, Mo. -- Larry "Dean" Lemons, 43, of Gipsy died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 25, 1959, at Gipsy, son of William "Willie" and Ethel Porter Lemons.
Lemons was a 1980 graduate of State School 41. He worked at VIP Industries in Cape Girardeau 20 years. He was a member of Berrong General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother of Gipsy; six brothers, Truman Lemons of Cape Girardeau, Charlie and Tommy Lemons of Marble Hill, Mo., Ivan Lemons of Zalma, Mo., Harold Lemons of Sturdivant, Mo., Terry Lemons of Scott City; six sisters, Dorothy Richmond of Bridgeton, Mo., Ruth Hefner of McGee, Mo., Linda Siler of Puxico, Mo., Peggy Stepp of Arab, Mo., Barbara Masters of Virginia Beach, Va., and Shirley Chesnut of Jacksonville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery.
