BELL CITY, Mo. -- Larry Clifford Johnson, 89, of Wadesville, Indiana, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Indiana.
He was born Dec. 11, 1924, to Frank and Molly Clark Johnson in Bell City, Missouri.
Larry was a Navy veteran serving in World War II.
He was a salesman for General Foods and retired in 1983. Larry enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his companion, Jeanette Adamson; a daughter, Shirley Phillips (Stu) of Boonville, Indiana; a son, Kevin Johnson (Tammy) of Newburgh, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kristi Jones (Jason), Kurt Phillips (Kelly), Cherie Johnson and Drew Johnson; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Schlegel) Johnson, in 1996.
The funeral was Nov. 21 at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel in Evansville, Indiana. Burial was in Alexander Memorial Park.
