CHAFFEE -- Larry Gale Hicks, 55, Chaffee Route 2, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 25, 1941, in Cape Girardeau County, son of James Elbert and Pauline Grace Davis Hicks. He and Betty Jean Seabaugh were married July 16, 1960.
Hicks was a machine oprator at Foamex in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Frank Hicks of Delta, Eric and Mark Hicks of Chaffee; a daughter, Loretta Below of Delta; a brother, Joe Thompson of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Sonja Clonninger of Fredericktown, Betty McCormick and Helga Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Sharon Tricamo of Imperial, Pat Hobeck of Chester, Ill.; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Glen Golden officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
