Larry J. Forhan, 57, of Scott City died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Blytheville, Ark., to Carl E. Forhan and Bonnie B. Hutson. He was married to Mary Carolyn Arnold on Nov. 24, 1982, in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death on July 21, 2000...

Larry J. Forhan, 57, of Scott City died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Blytheville, Ark., to Carl E. Forhan and Bonnie B. Hutson.

He was married to Mary Carolyn Arnold on Nov. 24, 1982, in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death on July 21, 2000.

Forhan was a self-employed computer consultant. He served as mayor of Scott City from 1992 to 1996.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Kamler, of Scott City; three sons, Carl Forhan of Rochester, Minn., Eric Forhan of Scott City and Patrick Forhan of Bloomsdale, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at the Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
