ORAN, Mo. -- Larry G. Eftink, son of the late Leo and Josephine Eftink, was born June 19, 1945, in Chaffee, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia at the age of 76.
He was united in marriage to Janet Nenninger in Advance, Missouri, on Dec. 29, 1973. She survives of the home.
Larry retired from Cargill in Sikeston, Missouri. He was a lifelong farmer in Oran. Larry was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Oran.
Besides his wife, other survivors include a daughter, Julie (Chris) McCann of Oran; two brothers, John Eftink of Gordonville and Donald Eftink of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Jane Skinner of Oran; Judy Littleton of Hooks, Texas; Susan Clymer and Sherri Veal, both of Scott City; and Kim Romano of Benton, Missouri; other relatives and several friends.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Eftink.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. A prayer service will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the Knight of Columbus service at 4:30 p.m.
A Eucharistic celebration will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery
