Larry Don Dillman, 79, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at Landmark Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1940, in Ullin, Illinois, to Jesse Loren and Emma Webb Dillman. He married Linda Marie Honey in Diswood, Illinois, in 1960.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Larry served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked for Pennsylvania Railroad and Missouri Air National Guard. In 1965, he began working for Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in Marietta, Georgia, and then in Lancaster, California. Larry and Linda moved their family to Cape Girardeau in 1974, where Larry worked for Procter & Gamble until his retirement in 1994. Larry was an avid fisherman and loved his extended family.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Laura (Bill) Bennett of Cape Girardeau and Lianna (Greg) Stover of Farmington, Missouri; and grandson, Jesse Stover of Goose Creek, South Carolina. He is also survived by sisters, Colleen (Roger) Langendoerfer of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Rebecca (Bob) Williams of Rochelle, Illinois; sister-in-law, Pat Honey of Olive Branch, Illinois; brother-in-law, Bill Copeland of Pontotoc, Mississippi; aunt, Edith Dillman of Ullin; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ferry Hopkins, Katie Hanney, Marcy Copeland and Nita Cauble.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Job officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Dongola, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
