ANNA, Ill. -- Larry Chamness, 58, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Union County Hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1946, at Anna, son of Frank and Eva Kinder Chamness. ANNA, Ill. -- Larry Chamness, 58, of Anna died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Oct. 1, 1946, at Anna, son of Frank and Eva Kinder Chamness.

He was a retired ironworker and a member of First Baptist Church in Anna. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW Post 3455.

Survivors include three brothers, Fred Chamness of Davenport, Fla., Bob and Frank "Doc" Chamness, both of Anna.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hileman Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3455.
