Larry Wayne Box, 54, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at his home.
He was born Nov. 13, 1945, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Loyd Wilson and Iva L. Sexton Box.
Larry received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1969. He had been a comptroller for various businesses. He was a member of the former Airport Southern Baptist Church in Malden, Mo.
Survivors include two sisters, Anna Lee Crawford of Cape Girardeau, Sharon Taylor of Lees Summit, Mo.; three aunts, Amy Sexton of Malden, Lucille Sullivan of Sikeston, Ruby Trusty of Zephyrhills, Fla.; two nieces, Beverly Compas and Teresa Williams of Cape Girardeau; a nephew, Kevin Crawford of Cape Girardeau; five great-nephews and nieces, Matthew Compas, Emily Williams, Joshua Compas, Andrew Williams and Katie Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Harold "Sonny" Box, on Nov. 6, 1964.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gary Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
