LANITA C. KAUFMANN

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Lanita C. Kaufmann of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald Loesch will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call today at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Kaufmann, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of Ferdinand and Ida May Bergman Mecker. She and Rudy Kaufmann were married Aug. 3, 1935. He died Nov. 4, 1990.

Kaufmann was a member of Immanuel Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, American Legion Auxiliary 133, VFW Auxiliary 4282, and charter member of Immanuel Chancel Guild.

Survivors include a son, Ken Kaufmann of Cheney, Kan., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
