MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Lacey Leona Woodham of Matthews will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Donald Heitman will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley.
Woodham, 92, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, at Sells Rest Home.
She was born March 10, 1903, at Benton, daughter of Marion and Carrie Easley Cockrum. She married Luther C. Woodham in 1922. He died in 1969.
She lived in East Prairie and Matthews most of her life and was a member of the Nazarene Church at Matthews.
Survivors are two sons, Luther Woodham of DeSoto and Lindil Woodham of Poplar Bluff; five daughters, Marion Brown of Leesburg, Fla., Mildred Huffstutler of Kennett, Marjorie Huffstutler of Matthews, Alene Brockman of Jacksonville, Fla., and Wanda Katzer of Tacoma, Wash.; a brother, Elbert Cockrum of Wilburn, Ark.; a sister, Mary Decker of Heber Springs, Ark.; 36 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, son, two brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
