L. JEANETTE SITZE

GIPSY -- L. Jeanette Sitze, 67, of Gipsy, died Monday, April 11, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 23, 1926, at Gipsy, daughter of Lee and Alma Headrick Stilts. She and Elmer I. Sitze were married April 5, 1947, in Piggott, Ark. He died Oct. 18, 1979.

Sitze was employed 25 years with Missouri State Division of Employment Security. She was a member of Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance, and Tuesday Morning Bible Study Class at Zalma.

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Dan Sitze of Bloomfield; a daughter, Karen Elledge of Jackson; a brother, Earl "Junior" Stilts of Leora, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. Dan Sitze and Norman Elledge officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery here.
