L. Edgar Massey, 82, of 1501 Parksite Drive died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1912, at Batesville, Ark., son of Luther Edgar and Louie De Anna Mack Massey Sr. He and Dorles Wilton were married Oct. 10, 1953. She survives...

L. Edgar Massey, 82, of 1501 Parksite Drive died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Sept. 26, 1912, at Batesville, Ark., son of Luther Edgar and Louie De Anna Mack Massey Sr. He and Dorles Wilton were married Oct. 10, 1953. She survives.

Massey was a Ford, Lincoln and Mercury car dealer at Ford Groves before retiring.

Survivors include two daughters, DeAnna M. McCool of Houston, Texas, and Debra M. Schafer of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Virginia M. Rutherford of Batesville, Ark., and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Centenary United Methodist Church.
