ANNA, Ill. -- Kyle Steven Mowery, 18, of Anna, died Saturday, May 11, 1991, as the result of an autombile accident. He was born July 9, 1972 in Cape Girardeau, son of Ginger Mowery of Anna and Steven Mowery of Jonesboro, Ill., who both survive. Also surviving are a stepmother, Rose Mowery, Jonesboro; two brothers, Clint and Chad Mowery, both of Anna; three stepbrothers, Jeff Obptande of West Palm Beach, Fla., Brad Obptande of Nashville, Tenn., and Tommy Obptande of Jonesboro; paternal grandparents, Elois and Leroy Mowery of Jonesboro; maternal grandparents, Marcella and Doyle Adams of Vienna, Ill.; and paternal great-grandmother, Beulah Mowery of Anna.. ...

He was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist church and a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He was a freshman at Southern Illinois University.

Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Al Slayter officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery near Dongola, Ill.
