Kristopher J. Phillips, 40, a resident of Maryville, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at his home.

He was born Jan. 8, 1973, in Rochelle, Ill., to Larry and Wilma Leible Phillips.

Kristopher was a graduate of Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Ill.

He enjoyed playing games on his computer.

He is survived by his parents of Maryville; a son, Steven Phillips of Illinois; brothers, Brian Phillips of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Bobby Joe Phillips (Karyn) of Maryville; sisters, Denise Strang (James) of Tucson, Ariz., and Billie Joe Phillips of Maryville; a niece, Lauryn Phillips; and nephews, Robert and Nathan Phillips.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bobby Manso officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
