SIKESTON -- Funeral for Kristie Lynn Burnett of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Burnett, 27, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, from injuries received in a car accident on Highway 61.

She was born April 19, 1971, in Sikeston, daughter of Dudley and Donna Manker Medlock Jr. She and Tony Burnett were married in March 1998.

Burnett had lived in Scott County most of her life.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Timothy Landing Jr. of Zalma; a daughter, Kyla Hale of Zalma; her parents of Zalma; a sister, Shelly LaBoube of Imperial; maternal grandparents, James and Berniece Harris of Sikeston; and maternal stepgrandmother, Joyce Manker of Benton.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
