SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Funeral for Kim Dale Estes of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Revs. Arnell Carbaugh and Dennis Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Estes, 49, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 11, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Floyd Noel and Hazel B. Cowan Estes. He and Sandy Kay Vaughn were married May 31, 1980, in Scott City.

Estes owned and operated Estes Auto Body. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 513.

He served with Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Andrew Estes of the home; a daughter, Jessica Estes of the home; four brothers, Jack Estes of Perryville, Mo., Donnie and Carl Estes of Scott City, Lloyd Estes of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Mary Nickless of Boonville, Ind., Shirley Dalton of St. Louis, Arnell Carbaugh of Cape Girardeau, and Becky Miles of Evansville, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
