CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Kevin Roy Williams of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo. The Revs. Ed Carter and Tom Snavely will officiate. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
Williams, 42, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 30, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, son of Cecil Ray and Alma Doris Edwards Williams. He and Lillian Louise Riley were married April 26, 2000.
Williams was a deckhand. He was formerly of East Prairie.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melissa Smith of East Prairie; his mother of East Prairie; two stepsons, James Bender of El Dorado Springs, Mo., Larry Bender of Charleston; two stepdaughters, Melinda Moore of Clinton, Ky., Joyce Sullivan of Wickliffe, Ky.; five brothers, Howard, Larry and Jerry Williams of East Prairie, Ronald Williams of Sikeston, Charles Williams of Charleston; a sister, Marilyn McCoy of East Prairie; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
