Kenny Baker, 82, of Jackson passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at his home. He was born March 16, 1938, in rural Alexander County, near Tamms, Illinois, to Cecil and Mabel Rion Baker. He lived most of his life in the Anna/Jonesboro, Illinois, area. He enjoyed many years of playing fast-pitch softball and winning many games. He also enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and hunting. Kenny Baker, 82, of Jackson passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at his home.

He was born March 16, 1938, in rural Alexander County, near Tamms, Illinois, to Cecil and Mabel Rion Baker.

He lived most of his life in the Anna/Jonesboro, Illinois, area. He enjoyed many years of playing fast-pitch softball and winning many games. He also enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and friends and was a proud member of Cape County Cowboy Church.

On Oct. 5, 1990, he married Frances Acuncius, who survives, in addition to his daughters, Lori (David) Petot of Jackson and Krista Carey of Joplin, Missouri. Also surviving are stepchildren, David (Lisa) Houseman of Anna, Leanna (Dale) Stanley of Arlington, Texas, and Dean (Kim) Houseman and Ed (Karla) Houseman, both of Millersville; five grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and 12 great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Thomas Adams; triplet siblings; and a sister.

Private graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Anna City Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.

Liley Funeral Homes and Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
