ADVANCE, Mo. -- Kenneth Ray Tidwell, 71, of Advance died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 31, 1936, at Brownwood, Mo., son of Leonard and Myrtle Hill Tidwell. He and Earlene Phelps were married March 5, 1967. She died Jan. 25, 2008
Tidwell was a retired farmer. He was a 1956 graduate of Advance High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Kenny Phelps of Jackson; a brother, Doyle Tidwell of Advance; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
