SESSER, Ill. -- Kenneth Copeland Stewart, 57, of Sesser and formerly of Tamms died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997, in Sesser.

He was born May, 12, 1940, in Alexander County, the son of Zollie Raymond and Helen Florence Bailey Stewart.

He served in the Armed Forces.

Survivors include his mother of Sesser; a son, Jerry Reed of Cairo; a daughter, Lisa J. Whitis of Sesser; three sisters, Florence Haynes of Ullin, Georgia Olsen and Barbara Atchison of Sesser; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, with the funeral at 10:30. The Rev. Ernest Browning will officiate. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Mounds City.
