MARION, Ill. -- Kenneth A. Madding, 34, of Marion died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at Marion Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 23, 1965, in Cairo, the son of Leslie Allen and Sharon Lefler Anglin. He married Betty L. Baswell on Aug. 22, 1987, in Aransas Pass, Texas. She survives.
He was the grandson of Della Anglin of Cape Girardeau.
He was a Baptist and was employed by Matsushita Universal Media in Pinckneyville as a compact disk replicator. He was a steel worker for many years.
He was a volunteer firefighter, working with the fire departments at Ingleside and Aransas, both in Texas, and for a while with the fire department in Wickliffe, Ky.
He also is survived by two sons, Kenneth Allen Madding Jr. and Johnathan Thomas Dean Madding, both of the home; his father, Leslie A. Anglin of Albuquerque, N.M.; a stepsister, Kimberly Diane Polley; and a grandmother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, three grandparents and a stepgrandfather.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home in Marion.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Pressley officiating.
