ADVANCE - Kenneth "Kenny" Campbell, 51, of Advance, died Friday, June 14, 1991 at his home. Campbell, formerly of White Hall, Ill., was born April 12, 1940. He was born in Hillview, Ill. to J. Warren and Marie Miller Campbell. On May 22, 1960, he married Donna Faye Gillis in White Hall. She died Feb. 3, 1987...

ADVANCE - Kenneth "Kenny" Campbell, 51, of Advance, died Friday, June 14, 1991 at his home.

Campbell, formerly of White Hall, Ill., was born April 12, 1940. He was born in Hillview, Ill. to J. Warren and Marie Miller Campbell.

On May 22, 1960, he married Donna Faye Gillis in White Hall. She died Feb. 3, 1987.

Campbell moved to Advance in 1988 after working for Schwan's in Lincoln, Ill. Before that he worked for many years as an agent for Standard Oil in White Hall.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1968. For two years he served on a hospital ship in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are sons Darrell W. Campbell of Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico and Roger Campbell of Springfield, Ill.; daughters Anita Campbell and Diana M. Danosky, both of Lincoln, Ill.; sisters Mary Roodhouse of Greenville, Ill. and Peggy Post of Chapin, Ill.; brothers James Campbell of Advance, Donald Campbell of Carthage, Ill., Robert Campbell of Salem, Ind., and Sam Campbell of Seattle, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, his parents preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the White Hall First Christian Church, with burial in Pine Tree Cemetery near Patterson, Ill. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall, where family members will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
