SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Kenneth Green, 74, of Scottsdale, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016, at his home.
He was born June 17, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Truman Levi and Eunice Slinkard Green. He and Elizabeth Kranawetter were married in 1964 in Missouri.
Loving survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Green; a son, David Green of Arizona; two daughters, Alice Diane Peel of Arizona and Margaret Kirn of Illinois; a brother, Mariam (Mary) Green of St. Charles, Missouri; four sisters, Faye (Charles) Jordon of Marble Hill, Missouri, Edith (Clemo) Foster of Glenallen, Missouri, Florence Furgye of Marble Hill and Laverne (Jerry) Walthers of Kennett, Missouri. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bart (Amanda) Kirn, Michael Kirn, Morgan (Bruce) Henderschott and Kelsi Green.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating. Interment will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Shawneetown, the Multiple Sclerosis Association or the Epilepsy Foundation.
