CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Kenneth Paul Gaebler Sr., son of the late Lester Gaebler, LeVern Gibson Gaebler and Dorothy King was born Dec. 26, 1945 in St. Louis and departed this life Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee at the age of 73 years.
On Nov. 6, 1993, he was united in marriage to Cindy McCoy in Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Gaebler survives of the home in Chaffee.
Gaebler was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a former Sous-Chef for many years, of the Baptist faith and a resident of Chaffee.
Besides his wife, other survivors include his sons, Jeffery Gaebler of Sylvester, Georgia, Kenny (Alaina) Gaebler of Whitewater and Branden (Alexandrea) Gaebler of Norman, Oklahoma; eight brothers; two sisters; and 16 grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Scott Gaebler.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Delta.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, full military honors.
