OAK RIDGE -- Kenneth L. Emerson, 28, of Oak Ridge died Tuesday, May 22, 2000, in a motorcycle-automobile accident on Highway A near Frohna.
He was born June 25, 1971, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of LeRoy and Bonnie Wisely Emerson. He and Renee A. Wichern were married Feb. 8, 1992.
Emerson was a plumber and heating and air conditioning technician with Dutch Enterprises Inc. He was a member of American Eagles Club.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Derek and Michael Emerson of Oak Ridge; his mother of Perryville; three sisters, Karie Emerson of Perryville, Jeanette Wenzler of Belleville, Ill., Debra Leslie of Rombauer; and a brother, Ron Emerson of Belleville.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-10 a.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Huttegger officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
