Kenneth Eugene Clark, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to Ralph E. and Vivian Lucille Summers Clark. He and Marsha H. Webb were married March 11, 1961, in Cape Girardeau.
Clark was a member of Missouri National Guard from 1960 to 1968.
Kenny had worked in the parts department at Ford Groves and had been a route driver for Bunny Bread. He began working as a towboat engineer for Upper Mississippi Towing in 1974, and later for Gladders Towing. He retired from Mid-South Towing in 1997 as chief engineer on the Martha Lynn. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and Eagles Aerie 3775.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha H. Clark of Cape Girardeau; a son, Hunter (Stephanie) Clark of Jackson; a daughter, Tracie Clark of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Hunter, Teddy and Alexa Clark; a great-grandchild, Julia Schutt; his mother, Lucille King of Perryville, Mo.; two brothers, Ronald W. Clark of Cape Girardeau, Mark (Melodie) Metje of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Brenda (Jim) Bohnert, Perryville, and Cheryl (Wayne) Bamberger of Boca Raton, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, and an infant daughter, Carla Elizabeth Clark.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical United Church of Christ, 33 North Ellis, in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will follow at the church, with the Revs. Dan Johnson and Dave Schaffner officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
