KENNETH BEARD

MARBLE HILL -- Kenneth Darris Beard, 63, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 7, 1933, at Marble Hill, son of Walter and Audrey Long Beard. He and Pauline Winchester were married Sept. 1, 1972.

Beard was retired from the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Marble Hill; a stepson, Stanley Karr of Elsberry; a stepdaughter, Judy Barnoski of Manchester; a brother, Gilbert Beard of Fredericktown; five sisters, Shirley Probst, June Lincoln and Gloria Hoxworth of Marble Hill, Mary Tyler of Florida, Gladys Glover of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4:30 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Aaron Allen officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
