WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Ken Klaproth, 81, of Wappapello died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at his home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Cape Girardeau to Walter R. and Hazel Hope Klaproth.
He was a graduate from Cape Girardeau Central High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and feeding birds. He also loved his cats, Cricket and Tuffy.
Survivors include his three daughters, Debbie (Dave) Sellars of Tampa, Florida, Tammy (Tim Lutz) Klaproth of Madison, Wisconsin, and Kim (Kevin Casey) Klaproth of Columbia, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Anna Lutz and Tess Lutz.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Bill Orr officiating. Burial will be at New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Legacy Hospice.
