GLEN ALLEN -- Graveside service for Kelly Mims of Glen Allen will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

There is no visitation.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Mims, 42, died Monday, Dec. 2, 1996, in a car accident on Highway ZZ near Glen Allen.

He was born July 16, 1954, in Tulsa, Okla., son of Garland and Eudena Proctor Mims.

Mims was a graduate of Jackson High School, attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and Southeast Missouri State University. He was employed by Cape Girardeau Construction and worked on the Natural Gas Pipeline.

He had lived at Glen Allen three years.

Survivors include a son, Davis Mims of Marble Hill; a daughter, Hannah McGee of Sikeston; and his father of Avinger, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.
