JONESBOBO, Ill. -- Kay Whitney, 70, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 21, 1947 in Anna, Illinois, the daughter of Elbert and Verneal Jordan Hileman. She married Cecil Ray Whitney in 1967 in Union County (Illinois). He preceded her in death...
JONESBORO, Ill. -- Kay Whitney, 70, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 21, 1947 in Anna, Illinois, the daughter of Elbert and Verneal Jordan Hileman. She married Cecil Ray Whitney in 1967 in Union County (Illinois). He preceded her in death.
Kay was a member of the Mill Creek Lutheran Church.
Kay is survived by her children, Sandra D. (Matthew) Dare of Jonesboro, Chuck (Melissa) Whitney of Jackson, and Thomas J. (Beth) Whitney of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
