ADVANCE, Mo. -- Anita Kay Hubbard, 55, of Advance died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center North in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born March 9, 1949, at Crowder, Mo., daughter of Wilbert Abraham and Gladys Rachael Bell Gossett. She and George Hubbard Jr. were married Dec. 31, 1966, at Vanduser, Mo.
Hubbard was a line worker in the cook plant at Tyson Foods in Dexter, Mo. She was a member of Parker Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was formerly of Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ryan Hubbard of the home; a daughter, Ronna Chilton of Advance; three brothers, Harold Gossett of Scott City, Kan., Dale and Wilbert Gossett Jr. of Sikeston; five sisters, Donna Gilliland and Carol Payne of Sikeston, Shirley Hodgson of Lawrence, Kan., Janie Osburn of Manhattan, Kan., Glendella May of Scott City; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Revs. Maxie Schrieber and Jason Schrieber will officiate.
