Sandra “Kay” Flannery, 57, of Whitewater passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, at her home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1959, at Puxico, Missouri, the daughter of Kenneth and Betty Cookson Wilfong.
Kay had worked at Manac in Oran, Missouri, and also had been a homemaker. She spent all of her time with her pets, Pete, Sandy and Bullya. She loved taking care of her home and her family and rehabilitating wildlife.
Kay and Douglas Wayne Flannery were united in marriage Oct. 9, 1993, at Marble Hill, Missouri, and he survives of the home.
Survivors include her parents, Kenneth and Betty Wilfong of Whitewater; her husband, Douglas Flannery of Whitewater; a stepson, Robert Flannery of Jackson; a brother, Nathan Wilfong of Whitewater; two sisters, Brenda Strickland of Delta and Charlene Ross of Allenville; two stepgrandchildren, Colter and Reese; a very special friend, Sharon Foster of Perryville, Missouri; and loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Brown’s Chapel Church Cemetery near Puxico.
