EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Funeral for Katie Irene Radica of East Prairie will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo. The Rev. Jimmy Monahan will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Radica, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born March 19, 1909, in Thorp, Tenn., daughter of Pete and Hattie Newberry Harris. She and Robert L. Radica were married Sept. 11, 1947. He died Feb. 14, 1979.

Radica lived in East Prairie most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Walker Jr. of Taylor, Mich., Van Radica of Sikeston, Mo.; a daughter, Doris Black of Trenton, Ill.; a brother, Lloyd Harris of Sikeston; 22 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
