TAMMS, Ill. -- Kathy Joann Curtis, 59, of Tamms passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at her home.
She was born May 20, 1959, at Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Willard and Reba Mae Ralls Beasley.
Kathy was of the Baptist faith and was a retired mental health employee with the State of Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Willard E. "Buddy" Beasley, and a niece, Amy Dover.
Survivors include her husband, David Wayne Curtis of Tamms; two sons, Jesse Lee (Tracey) Beasley and Kenneth Drake (Stephanie) Hester; stepdaughter, Skylar Hale; four sisters, Della Curtis of Anna, Illinois, and Ruth Beasley, Beverly (Dean) LaMeer and Janet (Mike) Phegley, all of Racine; three brothers, Ronnie (Sandy) Beasley of Racine and Donnie Beasley and Jerry Beasley, both of Kenosha, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Spencer, Joelle, Fleck, Evan, Kenneth "Wink," Heaven, Ellie and Rylee; great-granddaughter, Faith "Lilbit"; stepgrandson, Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Larry Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Mission Valley Cemetery in rural Jonesboro, Illinois.
