Funeral for Kathern "Kathy" Burton of Henderson, Tenn., was held May 11, 1999, at the United Pentecostal Church in Bethel Springs, Tenn. Jeff Young of-ficiated. Burial was in Rogers Cemetery in Henderson.

Leon Johnson and Son Funeral Home in Henderson was in charge of arrangements.

Burton, 55, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn.

She was born April 9, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Glen and Rosemary Goodman Ford. She and William Burton were married in 1960.

The Burtons moved to Henderson in late 1996.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Amy Lewis and Kimberly Yelverton; two sons, Terry and William Burton Jr., all of Henderson; her parents of Pocahontas; two brothers, Wayne Ford of Chaffee, the Rev. Donny Ford of Pocahontas; and 10 grandchildren.
