Kathryn F. Stubbs, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at the Lutheran Home. She was born July 14, 1916, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Amon Burette and Blanche L., Behymer Miller. She first married Kermit Tinsley in 1925, who died in 1979. She then married Porter Stubbs in 1979, who died in 1984...

Kathryn F. Stubbs, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born July 14, 1916, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Amon Burette and Blanche L., Behymer Miller. She first married Kermit Tinsley in 1925, who died in 1979. She then married Porter Stubbs in 1979, who died in 1984.

Stubbs was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Susan Clifton of Houston, Texas; three stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Dr. Clayton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
