Kathryn Marie "Katie" Noble departed this world to her eternal home Tuesday, April 8, 2008, following a brief illness of pulmonary fibrosis.

Katie was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Pocahontas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Alma Swan; her brothers, Norman and Leonard Swan; her first husband, Carlos Garcia; and stepson, Baron Garcia.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Noble; a stepdaughter, Judy Yankovich and her three sons, Jake, Jeffrey and Jared of Kansas City; a stepson, Michael Noble and his wife Jana and their two sons, Joe and Liam of North Liberty, Iowa; a sister, Dorothy Vernon of Jonesboro, Ill.; a stepson, Jacoby Garcia of Houston; her godson, John Kotovsky of St. Louis; cousins, Dr. Paul Wittke of Knoxville, Tenn., Mary Stanley and Martha Fiehler of Jackson, Reinhold Poppitz of St. Louis, Mary Ann Harms of San Marcos, Calif.

Also two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Swan of Pocahontas, Louise Swan of Jackson; five nephews and six nieces, Vida Stanard, Tina Druckenmiller, Len Swan, Nelson Swan, Norman (Sam) Swan, Reg Swan, Bill Vernon, Nina Swan-Kohler, Ellen Lewis, Mary Beth Smith and Candace Linton.

Katie graduated from Jackson High School in 1954. She was with Allstate Insurance Co. 30 years, and more recently worked in the office of DEBASIO Furniture. Katie was involved in all aspects of her church and very active in the Stephen Ministry program.

The family wishes to thank her doctors, nurses and staff at Missouri Baptist Hospital for their loving care during the final weeks of Katie's life.

Visitation will be Friday at Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway Road, Ballwin, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m.

The service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 327 Woods Mill Road, Manchester, Mo., will be Saturday at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour before service.

Interment of cremated remains will be held at 2 p.m. May 3 at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pocahontas.
