Kathryn Jones

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Kathryn Jones, 90, of East Prairie died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at the Bertrand Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1912, in Roxton, Texas, daughter of Reverdy and Allie Belle Winfrey McCune. She and Thomas Orlie Jones were married Aug. 12, 1939, in Seminole, Texas. He died June 1, 1970.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie and was active in Woodmen of the World Society.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Upton of East Prairie; Ruth Hubbert and Edith Robinson, both of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until service time at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Aubrey Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemtery near Charleston, Mo.
