SCOTT CITY - Kathryn Beatrice Loida, 77, of 404 Lincoln, Scott City, died at her home on Friday, Nov. 13.
She was born in Malden on Feb. 12, 1915 to Ernest and Rose Bledsoe McSwain. She married Oliver D. Loida in Fornfelt on Sept. 4, 1937. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1987.
Loida was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Scott City, and a member of the Irene Ham Lodge of the U.T.U. auxiliary, and the ladies sodality of the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Dunger of Scott City, and Kay Carroll of San Diego, Calif. One sister, Margaret Brant of Fairview Heights, Ill., and two grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Amick Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 7 p.m. tonight.
The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Roger Leveillee officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
