KATHLEEN WILLIS

EAST PRAIRIE -- Kathleen W. Willis, 76, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, at East Prairie Nursing Center, following an extended illness.

She was born June 2, 1921, at Lilbourn, daughter of Perry and Donie Myers Ward. She and Floyd B. Willis were married July 5, 1941. He died March 8, 1979.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald and Lonnie Willis of Centralia, Ill., Billy Willis of East Prairie; four daughters, Anita Griggs and Geraldine McDermott of East Prairie, Kathy Willis of Sparta, Ill., Karon Riley of St. John's Mich.; a sister, Rosella Becker of Pekin, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, a sister and six brothers.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 3 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
