ORAN -- Kathleen Lillian Taylor, 82, Oran Route 1, died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 8, 1914, in Anniston, daughter of Delpha Redden and Robert Finley. She and La Ray Robbs Taylor were married June 30, 1937. He died Feb. 2, 1984...

ORAN -- Kathleen Lillian Taylor, 82, Oran Route 1, died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 8, 1914, in Anniston, daughter of Delpha Redden and Robert Finley. She and La Ray Robbs Taylor were married June 30, 1937. He died Feb. 2, 1984.

Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church in Oran, and VFW Auxiliary in Morley.

Survivors include four sons, Robert and Spencer Taylor of Oran, Charles Taylor of Morley, Donald Taylor of Tupelo, Miss.; five daughters, Nancy Holmes and Katherine Eftink of Oran, Janet White of Titusville, Fla., Mary Eftink of Cape Girardeau, Shamela Limbaugh of Sikeston; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Oran, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
