CHAFFEE -- Kathleen Slinkard, 78, of Chaffee, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 21, 1916, at Fredericktown, daughter of Harley Lucas and Virgie Viola Skaggs White. She and Erie Slinkard were married July 19, 1934. He died July 24, 1965.
Slinkard retired as a sewing machine operator at Buckstein Pants Factory. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Gene Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, Harley Ray Slinkard of Marianna, Fla.; three brothers, Drake White of Jackson, Lindell White of Detroit, Mich., Leonard White of Neola, Iowa; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
