Kathleen Mattes Seaman, 60, of Florissant, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1948, daughter of John D. and Mary Jane Mattes. She and George A.D. "Dwight" Seaman were married Feb. 14, 1970, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Kathleen was a graduate of Central High School and Jewish Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and involved with Girl Scouts.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Kristine Seaman, Craig Seaman and Michele (David) Landwehr, all of Florissant; her mother of Kelso, Mo.; two granddaughters, Kalynn Seaman and Savannah Landwehr of Florissant; a brother, Wayne (Kathy) Mattes of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Tina (Leeman) Medlin Jr. of Kelso.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, David Mattes; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Nell Seaman.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hutchens Mortuary in Florissant.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Atonement on New Florissant Road. Interment will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Davis, George Bathe, Walter Couch, Ryan Mattes, Leeman Medlin, Casey Medlin and Wayne Mattes.
